Horseback Rides
Horseback rides at the pack station are an amazing experience for anyone that’s passionate about horseback riding. From no experience in the saddle to growing up on horses, we have just the adventure for you. We pride ourselves in producing a fantastic experience all while staying professional and safe.
Short Ride - $12 ($10 cash)
For children who are wanting to get the horseback experience but not quite ready for the Mountain Trail Rides.
Horse is led around the facility by a wrangler.
Mountain Trail Ride -
(Approx 45 min - 1 hr) - $50 ($45 cash).
Ride Departure Times: 8 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 4 pm - *Riders load 15-20 min prior to ride departure times.
This ride goes up the road to the West Fork of the Wallowa River Trail, takes a cut across Bonneville Mountain, back down the East Fork of the Wallowa River and back to the Pack Station.
Extended Mountain Trail Ride -
(Approx 1:30-2 hr) - $90 ($85 cash).
Ride Departure Times: 9 am, 2 pm - *Riders load 15-20 min prior to ride departure times.
This ride goes up the road to the West Fork of the Wallowa River Trail, continues down the trail, takes a turn and comes back to the cut across trail across Bonneville Mountain, back down the East Fork of the Wallowa River and back to the Pack Station.
West Fork Wallowa River Ride -
(Approx 3.5 -4 hrs) - $140 ($130 cash).
Ride Departure Times: 8 am, 1 pm - *Riders load 15 min prior to ride departure times.
Approximately 3-3.5 hour guided trail ride into the majestic Eagle Cap Wilderness to the Ice Lake Trail Cut-Off, enjoy a short break to stretch your legs, load back on the horses, back down the trail to the Pack Station.
All Day Ride to Aneroid Lake -
(Approx 7-8 hrs) - $230 ($215 cash).
Ride Departure Times: 8 am - *Riders load 15 min prior to ride departure times.
Depart at 8 am and head up the East Fork to Aneroid Lake. Enjoy a couple hours at the lake, load back on your horse and head back to the Pack Station.
